Your practice data, handled with care

Account information. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). We receive and store your email address, name, and profile image so we can identify your account in our own database.

Practice activity. When you answer questions we record the question, your answer, whether it was correct, time spent, hints used, and the mastery and learning-profile estimates we derive from that activity.

Optional self-reports. You may optionally tell us how confident or focused you felt, or your mood. These are never required to submit an answer.

Basic technical data. Standard request information (such as device and browser type) needed to operate and secure the service.

To deliver and personalize adaptive practice, recommend what to study next, show your progress, operate and secure the service, and improve how the platform teaches over time.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that run the platform — authentication (Clerk), database and hosting infrastructure, and, where you purchase a plan, our payment processor — and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

We keep your data while your account is active. When an account is deleted, the related records — attempts, bookmarks, reviews, mastery, and profile — are removed along with it. Aggregate, de-identified usage counts may be retained so historical metrics survive without identifying anyone.

Theta Plus is intended for college-prep study. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent, guardian, or school and believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will remove it.

You can review and update your account details through your profile, request deletion of your account, and choose not to provide the optional self-report fields. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
